America Recycle Day Competition


Last year's K-8 art contest for America Recycles Day was a great success and we are bringing it back this year, adding a separate high school competition as well. Thank you to the Carton Council of North America for their generous support. Here are the highlights, full contest details can be found in the attached files. K-8 Competition -Grand Prize- $100, 2 recycling bins for the cafeteria or athletic fields, and their winning poster distributed across NC. -Runner-Ups: Two runner up posters will receive $50 each. -While supplies last, all students entering the competition will receive a Recycle Guys prize pack with stickers, pencils, and other goodies. -Artwork should encourage and promote recycling to other students. High School Competition -Grand Prize- $250, 2 recycling bins for cafeteria or athletic fields, and the winning artwork will be used NATIONALLY to promote carton recycling to other high school students. -Artwork should specifically educate about and promote recycling of milk and juice cartons. -Traditional and digital artwork accepted!
